Lanberg’s product lineup is expanding to include the Open Rack 10” series of open-frame installation cabinets, designed for compact installations where easy access to equipment, convenient cable management, and efficient use of available space are key.
The new models are ideal for home network installations, small offices, service centers, CCTV monitoring systems, and alarm systems. The open design facilitates installation, future maintenance, and infrastructure expansion without the need to remove doors or additional panels.
Three Heights and Two Color Options
The Open Rack 10” series includes 4U, 6U, and 9U models. Each size is available in two color options - black and gray. This allows you to match the rack to both the number of devices being installed and the appearance of the room or other infrastructure components.
Wall-Mounted or Tabletop Setup
The unit can be mounted on a wall or placed on a tabletop, making it easy to adapt to the available space. This solution works well in a technical room as well as in a small office, workshop, or home network setup.
The cabinets are delivered as a self-assembly kit. The set includes legs, M6 screws, and a carrying handle—the basic components needed to prepare the cabinet and begin installation. Integrated handles make it easy to move the cabinet during assembly, relocation, or when organizing your workspace.
Easy Access to Equipment
The open design provides convenient access to installed equipment and cables from multiple sides. This facilitates cabling, connection checks, and maintenance work. It is particularly practical in installations that are frequently expanded or require regular configuration changes.
Four 10” vertical rack rails streamline equipment installation. Numbered positions help you precisely arrange network switches, patch panels, cable organizers, power strips, and other compatible infrastructure components.
Natural Ventilation and Organized Cabling
Perforated panels support natural airflow around the mounted devices. Combined with the open design, they help create suitable operating conditions for routers, switches, and other network components without the need for a complex cooling system.
Pre-drilled mounting points for cable ties allow you to organize cables and minimize tangling. Clear cable routing improves the aesthetics of the installation, facilitates troubleshooting, and reduces the time needed to locate the correct connection during maintenance or network expansion.
