Lanberg is expanding its product line with four new models of 48-port 19” rack-mount fiber optic patch panels, designed to ensure organized fiber optic connections and convenient installation and maintenance. The new series includes 2U and 3U variants, compatible with SC and LC adapters, and available in black and gray.
These patch panels are ideal for ICT installations, server rooms, distribution points, and anywhere where clear fiber organization and easy access to connections are essential.
Sliding design - easier installation and maintenance
One of the most important features of the new Lanberg patch panels is the pull-out drawer, which provides convenient access to the interior of the device without having to remove the entire enclosure from the rack.
This solution simplifies fiber optic connections, fiber organization, and subsequent maintenance and service work. An additional convenience is provided by the adjustable rack mounting brackets, which allow the patch panel’s position to be adapted to the available space and other infrastructure components.
Well-Thought-Out Cabling Organization
The new models are equipped with features that facilitate the organized routing of fiber-optic cables. Internal splice trays, cable clamps, and cable mounting points help maintain a clear and orderly installation and facilitate future expansion.
There are four cable entry holes on the rear panel of the enclosure, and the included PG 13.5 cable glands ensure proper cable routing. Port numbering on the front panel streamlines connection identification, which is particularly important in more complex fiber-optic infrastructure.
The enclosure is made of cold-rolled steel, ensuring a robust construction designed for installation in standard 19” rack cabinets.
Two height variants: 2U and 3U
Each model offers 48 adapter slots, a slide-out design, adjustable rack mounts, and a set of mounting accessories, including cable glands, cable clamps, splice trays, and fasteners.
More Solutions for Fiber-Optic Infrastructure
The introduction of new fiber optic patch panels marks the next stage in the development of Lanberg’s offerings in the field of ICT infrastructure. Four available configurations allow the solution to be tailored to the type of connections used, the available space in the rack, and installation requirements.
The combination of a 48-port design, convenient access to the interior, and well-thought-out cabling organization makes the new models a practical solution both for building new fiber-optic installations and for expanding existing infrastructure.
