The SC01-4201-10B model is the golden mean – a 1U 19" RACK server case that combines a compact format with enormous flexibility. A wide selection of motherboards allows you to choose a configuration for a specific system – from a virtualization server to a multi-disk NAS. The presented model supports compact Mini-ITX and Micro-ATX motherboards, as well as full-size ATX and specialized SSI CEB server motherboards, allowing for much greater configuration freedom. However, the 1U height requires careful selection of CPU cooling: low TDP processors or passive cooling and short, efficient heat sinks are recommended to avoid thermal throttling and maintain a stable operating temperature.

The SC01-4201-10B provides 2 drive bays by default – depending on your needs, you can install 2 high-capacity 3.5“ HDDs or 2 fast 2.5” SSDs. This solution allows you to create high-capacity RAID arrays and flexibly combine different types of storage – from fast system drives to platter-based archival drives. What's more, by using shorter FLEX power supply models, it is possible to gain space for an additional 2.5" SSD, which gives even greater configuration freedom and allows you to increase the total capacity of the system without sacrificing the compact 1U form factor. This allows users to easily tailor the drive layout to their own scenarios – from a simple file server to a multi-tasking office server.

Each Lanberg RACK 1U server case is made of 1.0 mm thick galvanized steel, which significantly exceeds the industry standard and distinguishes it from competing solutions. The greater thickness of the material translates into higher mechanical resistance – the chassis effectively protects components from deformation, accidental impacts, and micro-vibrations, which in the long term could affect the stability of the server. The robust design is also less susceptible to wear and tear during many years of operation, frequent assembly and disassembly in RACK cabinets, or transport between locations. As a result, the device not only protects components from external factors such as dust or shocks, but also ensures the durability and reliability of the server infrastructure for many years of intensive use.

The front panel of the case features two USB 3.0 Type-A ports and Power and Reset buttons, making it extremely convenient to quickly connect a flash drive, external drive, or service keyboard. The front I/O panel saves the administrator time and facilitates system configuration, firmware updates, and diagnostics—without having to reach behind the case or manipulate cables in hard-to-reach places. It is a simple yet extremely practical solution that speeds up server operation and maintenance.
