Lanberg SC01-4503-10B 19" 3U Server Rack Enclosure

The Lanberg SC01-4503-10B is a functional 19” rack-mount server chassis with a height of 3U and an installation depth of 450 mm. It was designed for building high-performance servers, data storage systems, and devices intended for use in IT racks.

The well-thought-out interior layout allows for the installation of popular motherboard formats, multiple HDD and SSD drives, and full-size expansion cards. Factory-installed PWM fans, dust filters, and the ability to expand the cooling system help maintain optimal operating conditions for components even during prolonged heavy loads.

Supports ATX, Micro-ATX, and ITX motherboards

The SC01-4503-10B chassis is compatible with ATX, Micro-ATX, and ITX motherboards. This allows for flexible component selection and the creation of configurations suited to both simple server applications and more complex enterprise systems.

The case features seven expansion slots. The maximum length of the cards that can be installed is 230 mm, allowing you to install, among other things, disk controllers, network cards, graphics cards, or other devices that use PCI Express connectors.

Effective Cooling with PWM Fans

Proper airflow is crucial for stable server operation. The case comes factory-equipped with two 120 mm PWM fans. PWM control allows you to adjust fan speed based on component temperature.

The design also allows for the installation of four additional 80-mm fans. This enables you to expand the cooling system when using components that generate more heat.

Dust filters that protect components

The case is equipped with dust filters that limit the entry of contaminants into the interior. The set includes a replaceable front filter that can be easily removed and cleaned.

This solution helps keep the fans, heat sinks, and other components clean, thereby maintaining adequate cooling performance over the long term.

Ample space for HDD and SSD drives

The Lanberg SC01-4503-10B is designed for building high-capacity data storage systems. The design provides mounting slots for:

  • 6 2.5-inch SSDs or HDDs,
  • 11 3.5-inch SSDs or HDDs.

Depending on the selected configuration, the enclosure supports up to 17 drives simultaneously. This allows you to set up a file server, a backup system, a surveillance recorder, or an expanded data array. The large number of drive bays also makes it easy to expand storage capacity later without having to replace the entire enclosure.

Support for ATX and SFX Power Supplies

The SC01-4503-10B is compatible with ATX and SFX power supplies. The maximum length of the power supply unit is 140 mm. The ability to choose between two popular formats makes it easier to match the power supply to the server’s power requirements and the available space inside the chassis.

Convenient access to ports and controls

The front panel of the case features USB 3.0 Type-A ports, allowing for quick connection of portable storage devices, keyboards, diagnostic tools, or other accessories. The case also features an LED indicating system operation. Placing the most important connectors and controls on the front ensures convenient access to the server once it is mounted in a rack.

The case comes with the following:

  • a 4-pin PWM fan header,
  • a set of screws.

The included splitter makes it easy to connect fans to the motherboard or PWM controller, while the set of screws allows for convenient installation of components inside the case.
