Not every ICT installation operates under ideal conditions. In locations where equipment is more exposed to dust, water, or mechanical damage, a standard enclosure may prove insufficient. That is why Lanberg is expanding its product line to include hermetically sealed 10” IP55 rack cabinets, which combine compact dimensions, a durable design, and solutions that facilitate installation and subsequent maintenance of the infrastructure.
The new models are delivered fully assembled and can be mounted on either a wall or a pole. This makes it easier to adapt the installation method to the conditions at a given facility.
Equipment Protection in Demanding Conditions
All new cabinets offer an IP55 protection rating and an IK10 impact resistance rating. Their maximum static load capacity is 50 kg, allowing for the safe installation of network devices, power supply units, and other ICT infrastructure components.
The construction utilizes galvanized steel and AISI 304 stainless steel. The solid, single-leaf metal door can be opened up to 180°, ensuring convenient access to the installed equipment during installation, inspections, and maintenance work.
Four variants tailored to your installation
The four models differ in their external dimensions and available mounting depth:
- WAH1-3230-00S - 320 × 300 × 220 mm; mounting depth 200 mm,
- WAH1-3240-00S - 320 × 400 × 220 mm; mounting depth 200 mm,
- WAH1-3450-00S - 340 × 500 × 250 mm; mounting depth 230 mm,
- WAH1-4250-00S - 420 × 500 × 300 mm; mounting depth 280 mm.
This variety allows you to select a compact enclosure based on the amount of equipment, available space, and required installation depth - without having to use a larger 19” cabinet.
More Convenient Cable Management and Easy Maintenance
The bottom panel of the cabinets features cable openings, and the set includes PG9 and PG13.5 cable glands. This facilitates feeding cables into the enclosure and allows for better cable organization.
Each model is also equipped with a removable filter that can be easily cleaned, helping to maintain proper airflow. The design provides space for one fan, allowing the ventilation system to be adapted to the number and type of devices installed.
The package includes accessories for wall and pole mounting, a grounding cable, a perforated plate, M6 screws, and U-profile rack brackets.
