But what if the administrator would like to avoid their unnecessary, redundant operation; reduce the cost of their operation, and extend the life of their operation? Lanberg offers a simple and flexible solution to easily achieve this goal: the AK-1505-S shutdown thermostat. It allows you to regulate the temperature in server racks by controlling the flow of current to cooling equipment and/or airflow support products. The device is equipped with a current contact that is short-circuited (closed), and thus turns on the supported cooling when the temperature set by the user on the thermostat is exceeded. This is all thanks to the thermobimetal sensor, which mechanically deforms under the influence of ambient temperature. Combined with the ability to independently set the temperature on the thermostat, the device will fully meet the expectations of the user.
